Turnberry turns 100

One of Scotland’s finest hotels and golfing destinations has hit the century mark.

The Westin Turnberry Resort celebrated its 100th anniversary in May.

Exactly a hundred years to the day that the Turnberry first opened its doors, a special exhibition was unveiled to help the birthday celebrations.

A series of photographs, newspaper articles and other memorabilia now adorn the corridors of the hotel giving a fascinating insight in to the lives and events at the Turnberry during the past century – including three Open Championships......
