Airports look to future (Issue 27)

To celebrate its 40 year milestone, Glasgow Airport has opened a new multi-million pound departure lounge.

Skylounge comprises two new passenger lounges – a holiday lounge for families, and a prestige business lounge (pictured).

Not to be outdone, Edinburgh Airport has unveiled an uber-modern information centre to meet the needs of the growing number of airport passengers. The new information centre includes a retail unit where visitors can book their accomodation, and buy maps, tickets and souvenirs. An information pod with computer terminals has also been situated just outside the main centre to provide visitors with 24- hour access to tourist and airport information....
