Rosslyn on film

The mystery and legend of Rosslyn Chapel, made famous for its part in the blockbuster novel and film The Da Vinci Code, is being used as a hook to attract a new style of visitor to Midlothian.

VisitScotland and Scottish Screen have produced a half hour documentary style film about the Midlothian chapel to attract ‘setjetters’ – film fans who visit locations of their favourite movies.

The Rosslyn Enigma seeks to help visitors discover the truth behind the chapel’s 600 year old secrets and will be shown at promotional events throughout North America.

VisitScotland has also developed a new series of touring maps and itineraries highlighting popular Scottish attractions and locations, each with a Da Vinci Code twist......
