Edinburgh International Festival

The dates of the 59th world-class Edinburgh International Festival have been confirmed.

For three weeks Edinburgh, one of the most beautiful capital cities in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site, will play host to world class symphony orchestras, classical ballet companies, actors, ensembles, singers and musicians in a celebration of music, theatre, opera and dance.

This year’s festival will run from Sunday August 14th, when the traditional Opening Concert will open the festival to a packed Usher Hall, until Sunday September 4th when it will close with a bang at the Bank of Scotland Fireworks Concert in Princes Street Gardens.
