Antique golf ball is a big hit200 year old golf ball...An 18th century golf ball linked to renowned St Andrews professional, William Robertson has been bought for £24,000 ($45,000) at an auction at Lyon and Turnbull’s in Edinburgh. The ball, which dates from 1790, is made from a leather shell stuffed with feathers and has become one of the most expensive in the world.
