29th May – 31st October 2004
Eduardo Paolozzi is one of Scotland’s leading living artists. He celebrated his 80th birthday this year, and the first major retrospective of his work is now on display in Edinburgh. The Leith-born sculptor, best known for his giant foot sculpture outside St. Mary’s Catholic Cathedral, has also been a prolific printmaker and the exhibition showcases the wonderful variety of his work with more than 200 pieces on display. There are five rooms showing his works through the decades and his different life stages.
