Glasgow is a hub of artistic creativity and every two years, the Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art puts the city on the world stage. Taking place in unique off-site locations; small, eccentric galleries; and large established museums, the festival packs in events, talks and tours as well as major world-class exhibitions, some by artists living in the city and others by leading international figures. The festival engages with the city's inhabitants and international visitors alike.
